I absolutely love, love, love, this program! This is a comprehensive solution to the problems and gaps that I have witnessed over years of working as a Registered Nurse on the medical end of cancer treatment. There is so much more we can and should be doing to enhance cancer treatment. Now we have the tools to start doing this. I am so excited to get started and get working with cancer clients. Candace Dornstauder, Registered Oncology Nurse, Clearwater, Florida
This course has inspired me to continue to help people stay healthy and happy in every capacity. I thoroughly enjoyed the aura Jeanette and Susan encircled us with each day intertwining us with their array of knowledge and openness to share. Greatly valued was their humour and ability to laugh, when cancer is “no laughing matter”, but at times it certainly can be, especially surrounded by great mentors and friends. This course is concise and complete with lots of information and references available. Both Jeanette and Susan are “walking-talking Google Internet sites – full of information! This course has made me see that providing care and options to people with cancer in a whole new light and empowered me to return the power to them. I hope to inspire other health care professionals who have this capacity to simply “love all people”, take this course and be positive advocates for people with cancer. Lisa Powell-Jad RN
I completed Level 1 a couple of years ago and found the course material both informative and fascinating leaving me wishing for more. With the encouragement of Jeanette Marshall, I decided to continue my education by enrolling in Level 2, Clinical Applications. Little did I know what lay ahead!
As I began to read the Cancer Coaching Program, I was overwhelmed as the material was quite technical. Yet, as I continued my adventures through the pages, I began to understand why it was necessary to acquire this information.
During my studies through the cancer protocols and treatments, many emotions burbled to the surface. Several times I found myself revisiting sitting in an oncologist office (16 yrs. ago), with my husband waiting for a diagnosis and treatment plan. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with a Grade IV astrocytoma and sadly passed away 6 years later. Even though many years have passed since my intimate experience navigating “the system”, reading through the course material reminded me how vulnerable one can be in those early moments, and how good it can be to have another pair of eyes and ears sitting beside you to hear an oncologist’s words.
The course has been challenging, thought provoking, overwhelming, affirming and has provided an opportunity for personal values clarification as well. All of these emotions would also easily parallel those of a cancer patient and caregiver.
I loved the nutritional oncology, environmental and mind/body recovery modules. All were informative and led me down some great “rabbit holes” during my research.
Many thanks Jeanette for being so accessible and encouraging me to keep going when I was ready to give up, as here I am finito!
Respectfully,
Carole Lee RNC RNHP
Informative!! Amazing group of people. Well organized class. Learned so much and feel really inspired to be part of this movement. Jeanette has an amazing wealth of knowledge and problem solving skills as each case was presented. Her warmth and understanding makes her very approachable for Adult Learning. Look forward to her next class and ongoing mentoring as I get started on this new journey. Angela Kane RN
The structure of the course was well laid out. The use of different media was effective. I enjoyed the films and use of website. The guided relaxations were wonderful. I enjoyed the group interactions and learned from the other students as well. The course content was very inclusive and handouts are a great resource. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the course, and will be able to implement tools acquired immediately in my practice. Thank you, Joanna Sparrow ND Naturopathic Physician
Have enjoyed the course immensely – such a tremendous amount of information, and much more to learn. I feel motivated to learn the material comprehensively and hope to be able to complete Level 3 in the near future. I also feel inspired to improve my own ways, nutrition wise and holistically overall. Thank you for the introduction to healthy eating and gift certificate for the Raw Food restaurant. The in-class session was a very positive way to engage in the course material – very appreciative of what other attendees brought to our learning experience. Your sharing of experiences with some of your cases was most helpful and insightful. The resources available to us as members of NAPCC are so valuable. Cindy E. Leckie, R.N.
This program gives an advanced overview of the causes of cancer. The structure of the course is very comprehensive to assist the learning process to become a cancer coach. The course confirms the necessity of a cancer coach for the process of treatment, healing and lifestyle improvement. Jeanette is so encouraging, and brings a wealth of knowledge to the class that is inspiring to fight for cancer patients – because there is hope beyond the traditional modalities of treatment. Thank you for developing and teaching this course. It is life changing! Lisa C. Carter, R.N.
I am so happy about being/having the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful experience. I cannot wait to get started. Jeanette, thank you for coming to Florida and sharing your knowledge. In my private practice this provides me the opportunity to start my own private practice. I am looking forward to learning and growing with the NAPCC. The course was comprehensive and easy to understand. I will study and practice everything I have learned. Again, thank you Jeanette. This has been excellent! Thank you! Carolyn S. Ballenger RN
The opportunity to be a part of this in-class version of the cancer coach program is immeasurable. To be in a room of holistic centered health-care practitioners who are all focused on the same goal – quality patient centered care – makes the voluminous content of the program digestible, relevant, and personally fulfilling. At the beginning of the program I was concerned about my ability to assimilate the material, however, I am now confident that I can take this experience and successfully work towards becoming a community coach and hopefully, educator. Thank you for all of your support Jeanette! Louise Kunicki, R.N.
I really appreciate the quality and depth of this course and I am delighted to become part of this community! Jennifer Turner, M.A., Psychology Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation
The breadth and depth of the material was beyond my expectations. From both a personal and professional perspective it is assuring to know that there are well researched and documented approaches to cancer that are successful and that will improve the quality of life for the person dealing with cancer. The course really is a beginning to further study on the subject and the tools and support required to do so are offered in this wonderful program. Thank you, MKelly, N.D. Naturopathic Physician What an amazing journey!! Thank you Jeanette, Joan and all participants, especially all nutritionists. I have learned so much with this course. A very comprehensive guide (and more) to embark upon cancer coaching. Lorrie Rail, R.N.
I feel this program will change me and my practice immensely. I no longer fear cancer, thanks to this program. I am leaving the last day feeling like I will have lots of support, if I need it. Thank you! Ashna Starratt, Registered Nutritionist
Thank you for an excellent course with so many like-minded knowledgeable professionals. I though the material was excellent and it was beneficial for me to have been selected to do the cancer protocol rather than the nutrition aspect of the training. Doing the cancer protocol got me really excited about the logistics of cancer – testing, treatments and writing a protocol. I think you are doing a fantastic job – running what will be a huge organization – kudos to you. I look forward to helping you in any way from New York. A million thanks, Kathleen Schoen Registered Nutritionist
The CPCC Program has been an amazing experience. The program itself is extremely comprehensive and well-structured covering pertinent details in the education of cancer and coaching. In the past five days I have been able to complement my knowledge in the field of holistic health care and apply specific structural protocols as it relates to cancer. I am so grateful for the experience and look forward to sharing and educating others on the best protocols to aide in prevention and recovery of cancer. It has been an invaluable education that you can’t put a price on! Stacy A. Scibetta Nutritionist
I am so excited about this course. Thank you for giving us this opportunity. It is a lot of information to digest over 3 days but learning happened! Many of the natural therapies have come to life for me, giving me more confidence in educating my clients. The caliber of participants, the professional material, and the beautiful location, have made my overall experience extremely beneficial in my personal and professional development. Linda Ditzler, R.N.
Amazing program – has lived up to my expectations. Greatly appreciate the network established of cancer coaches! I will be using this program in my private practice as both cancer prevention and cancer support, and for immense support /enhancement with cancer clients. Once I have time to consider and comment to the 6 Step Program, I will be contacting you! Look forward to ongoing learning from you and other coaches in the program!! Jeanette…blessings! Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to Cancer Coaching. Lisa Kelly, Nutritionist
Very well organized and structured. Set up in classroom conducive in sharing information. Very detailed information resource materials and support. Massive information with cancer. Very overwhelming. The interaction with other students helpful and informative. Extensive information well presented in interesting setting. Learned much of conventional cancer treatments and complementary/alternative protocols. Very extensive giving much incentive to learn more and make changes for the better. I just loved the personal interaction especially with the individual group presentation. Excellent learning. Overwhelmed with all the available information. Wonderful program. Well presented in the short . Helen Kocsis, R.N.
I felt the course was an excellent presentation to start me on my way to cancer coaching. The content was presented in an understandable format and questions were answered promptly. I really enjoyed doing the protocols at the end of the course. It was very informative and interesting. It was a great group with interesting backgrounds. Kathryn Wachmann RN
The course was amazing. I have a feeling that the message will get there where you are expecting. The best for you and your project. With love, Deolinda Carvalho, Nutritionist
Excellent program. Clear, precise. Very informative. Very detailed. It is fun to get together with other health practitioners. It gives you an opportunity to exchange experience. Overall, a great program. Thank you! Regina Featherstone Nutritionist
This course has been one of the most challenging I have ever taken but truth be told, it has also been one of the best, if not the best. When I first started, I never expected it to be as challenging as I found it to be. This was a good thing because I considered myself to be relatively well educated on the subject of cancer since I had already done a number of protocols for clients with breast, colon and lung cancers. What a humbling experience when I learned how little I really knew. As I got into the material, my enthusiasm only increased. Never did I feel that my brain was saturated and that I could not absorb any more information. It probably took me longer than normal to complete the course because I found myself wanting to read more on the various subjects and thus went off on tangents. While I've always believed that the patient should be an equal partner and decision-maker, I previously fell into the trap of just giving the information - thus being as equally culpable as attending oncologists in simply expecting the patient to do as they are told. This is an important lesson as one of the major facets of this program is providing empowerment to the client.I think the reason I enjoyed the course to the extent that I did, was because I agree wholeheartedly with the way in which the coach is taught to interact with the patient, the way in which the coach can teach and help the patient through the major trauma that is cancer and the whole body approach to the various issues. With new cancer cases presenting exponentially, and with the very little time that oncologists have to spend with their patients, except to diagnose and treat, the need for cancer coaches will explode. If the coaches are to become respected members of the health care provider team (and to be accepted in the mainstream), this course is the way to go. Cancer coaches will be required to have familiarity with mainstream modalities of cancer care, especially if they interact with oncologists. They will need this knowledge to convince oncologists that their suggestions are complementary to the treatment(s) the oncologists provide and not detrimental nor experimental. I am excited and looking forward to my career as a cancer coach and will endorse this program to any and all who are interested. I am presently cancer coaching in my community through York University - there is no time to waste!Joan Zarbatany BA RHN
This has been the most informative, wonderful experience I have ever had! I have learned so much this week and I feel empowered with the information I have and excited to be able to help educate people with this alternative/integrative approach to healing. Cancer coaches will revolutionize the way the public views healing and will give them the tools to be able to choose how to heal instead of just having the allopathic way which was the only option known in the past. Thanks so much Jeanette, you are the most amazing person and you’re a true teacher. I thank God for you! You saved my husband’s life and you have given me hope and a new excitement on life. I can’t wait to share my new found knowledge with others, and hopefully, I can make a difference in someone’s life because of your wonderful program! All my love, Susan Morton, RHN
It always seemed to me that out of all the many diseases that effect people everyday, CANCER was in a separate category all on its own. This different disease had a language of it's own which was complicated and scary, with words that seem to produce an ultimate sense of doom. I believe this would be the thoughts of countless people too. Through all my nutritional education, I've felt comfortable working with clients that have lifestyle diseases such as heart disease, diabetes etc. I have seen the difference in these clients that diet and lifestyle has made to reclaim their health and to reverse their symptoms. A big factor with people who ended up with these diseases were to some degree predictable, based on their lifestyle. What makes cancer so scary is that it does not appear to be the same predictable outcome based on specific lifestyle. It feels like a game of Russian Roulette and this diagnosis can hit anyone at anytime in life. The Certified Professional Cancer Coaching Program has provided me with the ablilty to de-mystify my past thoughts about cancer. There was a time when I wouldn't even read an article about cancer because I didn't understand nor did I want to believe that I would ever need to know about this scary disease, "It would never happen to me". Now I cannot read enough. I am almost sorry that I have completed the program as I have thoroughly loved the learning journey that I have been on. This program has been thorough, clear and comprehensive. The format was laid out so that it was easy to find the information and the flow of the subjects were lined up in a way that made sense. The more challenging information at the beginning of Part 2 (allpathic/integrative protocols) provided the foundation and the integrative/holistic pieces at the end of the course, made for such a complete package. Cancer is often a lifestyle disease and most certainly one that responds to a modification of dietary and lifestyle habits - and although still a scary disease, I am now ready to help educate and to facilitate the pathway of successful healing to my clients. Thank you Jeanette for your dedication to everyone's Health! Donna Marshall, Nutritionist
CORRESPONDENCE The material is well organized and laid out and I found that as I worked through it, I wanted to learn more and more. I also developed a clear understanding of how this field is constantly changing and the importance of continually learning and reflecting. In my personal circumstances, it took me some time to complete the course. I had stops and starts, and at times it was difficult to get back into it because of the sheer magnitude of information and trying to learn it. But, that wasn’t my only stall. With true reflection and learning, one returns to their own experience and attends to their own feelings regarding the subject matter. Having a past personal cancer diagnosis and treatment history, I was often able to see what was and what was not included in my own journey and how little information and education I truly received as I travelled the path to wellness. Having lived in a small, rural community, I was not provided access to or awareness of anything but the traditional conventional treatment of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy (though in my case not required.) I asked for a support person to see me at the city hospital where I attended for surgery, but they never came. I asked for a referral to a dietician but it never happened. I tried to advocate for additional services and supports but I did not know what they were or where to begin. What I did have going for me was my community at large enveloping me with love and personal support and my own mind/body knowledge as a counselor coupled with my hunger for knowledge and learning. My quest for more information was individual and researched and gathered on my own. Working through this program has allowed me the opportunity to fill in gaps and expand my knowledge. It has allowed me to realize that other people in rural communities, or even in urban centers, do not know how to access information and may lack the community support and mind body knowledge that I had. Reviewing and learning information about cancer diagnosis and treatment created raw emotion that I again had to work through and process. The information I have learned gives me insight into how my community friends can benefit from the additional supports and information I have learned. There was no integrative programs or practitioners where I lived. I did not have this knowledge or reference when I traveled through this experience. At times, I experienced anger when I realized what is available and yet how many people struggle with the overwhelming system on their own. The beauty of this program working to provide e-support and programming to the individual in the rural communities or for those feeling isolated or overwhelmed within the urban center is huge. I commend this program for working to be a program that is truly accessible to all. When people live in or near large city centers, you can have no idea what it is like to come from a community where it is a daily struggle to maintain a General Practitioner and where cancer treatment requires moving for a period of time. I love the fact that sponsorship is available and that there is becoming more awareness of cancer coaching! Keep up the good work, I am so thankful that I have completed this course and have developed tools to assist in provide some direction and information for others in their journey. Jill Ransom RN
I have learned so much and have enjoyed the course thoroughly. The correspondence course encouraged me to look elsewhere and find the answers to the exam questions and be broad in my studying. I have already recommended the program to a colleague. If you do it, you will not be disappointed. It has given me a lot of confidence and I am full of enthusiasm to utilize all I have learned in my health coaching practice. Ruth Baillie, Nutritionist
I thoroughly enjoyed the course, it was very informative and it added value to a lot of what I already knew as a specialist in naturopathic oncology. This course is great for health care providers as it helps to culminate much of the information that is out there into a single source. The course also helped provide very useful handouts and information that I think will provide my patients with better care. It provided some great information for patients and I would recommend this course for others. Dr. Kin Yan Leung, N.D., CCT
From: Patricia Lapena, RNCP, White Rock, BC. I really enjoyed this class very much. I learned a lot about cancer and the various causes as well as various types of cancer. The information given was extremely valuable because it made me understand how important it is to take care of the body. The wonderful information about nutrition and to avoid certain foods was extremely informative. I would definitely recommend that anyone who wants to educate themselves about cancer to take this fabulous class. Not only will the individual learn about nutrition but also about the various treatments and how simple it truly is to take care of what God has given us. Dr. Bianca Agassi, Psychologist, Palm Springs, California The CPCC program (Part 2) was definitely a new journey for me. With as much background education and experience I have...I wasn't initially prepared when confronted with such vast amounts of very comprehensive, but critical information. I came to this certification with a somewhat innocent idea of what the content entailed. The HBP (Part 1) was also intense but didn't delve quite so technically and medically into the disease as did Part 2 of the CPCC program. I know that in the CPCC program we are dealing with many different cancers-so perhaps the comparison isn't fair. But because the HBP dealt with breast health and CPCC program dealt with many cancers,,,it did put this course in a different "category" for me. It was without a doubt, appreciated. This material could come with a warning label: "What you are about to undertake requires an astute and clever mind with better than average recall and photographic memory, a great deal of time, belief and a unparalleled drive to succeed in this chosen path. I have done a critical assessment of what else could possibly be included and I am at a loss to find a thing. It truly held every protocol, resource and reference available that a Cancer Coach or client could need. If this material is handled appropriately by the entire team, patient included,,,the patient has a huge chance of being completely well again, emerging out of this disease triumphantly in all aspects of mind, body and spirit. The content was "truly fabulous". Thank you. Margo Laing, Alberta I would like to extend my appreciation to Holistic Health Education for putting together this course. At some point in our lives we all are, or will be affected by this appalling disease-cancer. The course you provided is a powerful tool not only for we professional cancer coaches, but more so for patients we will educate, who are struggling for a better prognosis, treatment and follow up. This course stimulates me to want to learn so much more about cancer and it's effects. The clarity of this course will help me to educate my clients on how to remove much of the fear of this disease and replace it with understanding and empowerment. This course is exceptionally complete starting with the information and materials on how to set up a private cancer coaching practice, and all the forms and letters you will need. Extremely useful are "The Patient Record" forms, and the patient support handouts (templates are available from HHE), giving you the opportunity to start your career the moment you finish this course. All the aspects of business are covered including assistance with food that prevent cancer, healthy benefits of certain foods and supplements, how to make the transition to better eating habits, and an abundance of nutritious recipes. From an academic point of view the course might be defined as the capacity of the system for health and health care to think, study, discover, evaluate, innovate, teach, learn and improve. Our mission as professional cancer coaches is to educate using a variety of specific coaching protocols and transformational strategies, often within a spiritual framework, to create optimal individualized recovery programs designed for our clients needs. My deepest gratitude to Jeanette Marshall Director of Education, who guided and assisted me throughout the program. I look forward to a successful and rewarding career! Silvia Dondera, Nutritionist The Certified Professional Cancer Coach Program covers all the pertinent information on cancer, whether it be preventative measures or active cancer protocols or information for recovery. As a practicing Registered Holistic Nutritionist since 2007, this course will help me provide my clients with the appropriate educational, nutritional and lifestyle information surrounding their cancer. This will help them make much more informed decisions about their health. On a personal level, surrounding my father's cancer, I found myself infuriated by the medical system's treatment for him in 2002 - for his colorectal cancer. I am absolutely amazed at all the cancer recommendations/protocols that are available and that were never mentioned when he underwent his cancer treatments. I am appalled at the state of our medical system, or "McMedicine", and what passes as current cancer treatment. Unfortunately, my new-found knowledge comes too late for my father, but I hope to be able to pass what I have learned onto my cancer clients, providing them with the latest in conventional and integrative treatment options that my father never had. I highly recommend this course for anyone in the medical profession that is/or will be working with cancer patients. You will want the information that this cancer coaching course can provide. Sharon Wilson, RNCP
I have found the course material very informative and easy to incorporate with future clients and personal use. It has a safe educational environment to share with one another. I will keep this information to empower myself and others with options in this common approach. Overall, I am grateful for this course information. Anita Kalmanchelyi
The course in general is a natural follow-up for the Health Breast Program. The content is superior in evidence-based credibility. Will be profoundly valuable in my current (even though not cancer-based) practice, and most likely (in the future) if I shift my practice emphasis. Facility most suitable. Group dynamics, sharing and resources among group invaluable. Thanks so much Jeanette for your pioneering, hard work, ground breaking work! Jodi Hill, Nutritionist HEALTHY BREAST PROGRAM TESTIMONIALS - CLASSROOM I want to take a moment as I am reflecting on the information you presented today, and what I experienced from the Healthy Breast Program. You deserve many thanks for all the effort you have put into helping people with cancer and sharing it with practitioners so more and more can be helped. I realize your efforts have stemmed from your passion to help people and get results, and you have done just that. As with any course I was enthusiastic about attending, but was unprepared, honestly for the effect that this subject matter had on me. The information, and the video presentations presented very up close and personal insight into the lives of women who have endured this devastating disease (much unlike other diseases I see in my clinical setting). Although disease can be difficult, painful and debilitating, I feel the reality of cancer (especially breast cancer) and the impact of the disease is beyond words, and I realized this truly today. I am grateful that you made it possible for me to attend. I will endeavor to impart this educational material on as many others for prevention and assistance with treatment, thanks to you, Jeanette and Dr. Kaur. Karen Steward RNCP You gave me so much – I appreciate your warmth, your generosity, your professionalism and your authenticity. Thank you. Susan P RNCP I would recommend this course to anyone! The clinical pearls are far too many to mention. I feel more equipped to service a wide variety of clients with the info provided (not only breast cancer prevention and sufferers). Furthermore, I would go as far to say that attending this course proved to be one of the most valuable seminars I have attended (and I have attended many!). The handouts, tips, protocols, well-researched information, and contact information was superb! Many thanks to you Jeanette, from one practitioner to another I congratulate you on a presentation so well done, I have been deeply inspired! Karen S, RNCP I enjoyed the weekend! Jeanette you’re awesome. Thank you – A great experience for me that really opened my eyes. Lynn B RNCP I never wrote you to let you know how great the workshop was....thank you!! It gave me a new perspective on everything. I have a lot of the risk factors, but it never occurred to me that I would get it. It also never occurred to me how great the fear surrounding this disease really was. It's insidious. Thank you for opening my eyes to the scope of the issue and sharing the tools to help us do something about it!! All the best! I look forward to seeing you again Colleen H RNCP Thank you very much. It was excellent. A wonderful weekend! Excellent videos. I would recommend this course to other practitioners and breast cancer patients. Donna S RNCP The course was great – really appreciated the support material. Audrey V RNCP I once again would like to thank you for a wonderfully educational, enlightening and inspirational weekend. It was great being able to express our thoughts, hopes and fears. I know I will be able to put the information learned this weekend to good use. Fran G RNCP Awesome collection and presentation of material. Simone S. RNCP I appreciate Dr. Kaur’s generosity and for sharing this with us – as well as Jeanette’s enthusiasm. Barbara B. RNCP Very informative and helpful….inspiring Charmaine H RNCP Wonderful info – well presented – great visuals. Janet T RNCP HEALTHY BREAST PROGRAM TESTIMONIALS - CORRESPONDENCE I am grateful to you, Jeanette, for this wonderful program. I found it profoundly informative and from now on it will be a part of my profile. I wish you great success in your achievements and next courses. Gemma Gath RNCP BASc. PROFESSIONAL CANCER COACH TESTIMONIALS- CLASSROOM This is an invaluable course for all professionals who are dealing with clients who have been diagnosed with cancer or with a family history of cancer. It provides the knowledge and protocols to assist the client nutritionally and emotionally through a 12 week step-by-step program that will enable them to take a more proactive roll in dealing with their illness or its prevention. The design of the course allows for a steady layering of information in small, easily understandable stages. This is particularly helpful when dealing with this group of clients who are already overwhelmed emotionally and with conflicting information regarding their illness. The information in the course is well researched and documented. Anyone helping people deal with this traumatic disease will find this course to be a powerful and useful tool. I recommend this course and consider Jeanette Marshall to be a helpful and informative facilitator. Ferne Glaser RNCP November 2006 The CPCC program is a wonderful, meaningful course prepared with great care. I have learned so much working through this material. I believe this knowledge will help my clients to make good, informed decisions regarding their cancer care. I enjoyed very much learning about all the research and was glad to see that there are many options for cancer patients. I am happy I took the course and my intention is to bring knowledge and loving care to my clients with cancer. Gaby von Pagenhardt, BA Congratulations to Holistic Health Education for providing the CPCC program by correspondence. The outline for the 52-week coaching format is easy to follow and easy to alter to work as a 6-week program if I choose. Providing the forms and formal format for presenting the program to clients in a timely and organized fashion is extremely helpful and very time saving. I look forward to receiving my personalized templates. Knowing the suggested fee schedule guideline for the program is helpful. Full integrative medicine protocols including nutritional, complementary, supplemental and allopathic treatment including standard, current and trials are all an integral part of this program. The 3-minute media release and the Physician’s marketing program will be extremely beneficial when promoting my services as a cancer coach. Specialized education on pain management for all types of chronic pain will be useful when working with clients suffering from many issues, not just cancer. Thank you for the contact information to the Life Extension Foundation and the leading scientific education included in the cancer protocols. I am grateful to Holistic Health Education for developing and providing additional materials such as the professional presentation folder to send to local doctors or to give to clients and the Cancer Resource Manual. The material provided in this program will support me in becoming an expert in the nutritional and lifestyle management of cancer. I look forward to providing the necessary education for clients that will allow them to make informed decisions regarding their choices of treatment. I welcome the opportunity to enjoy stronger relationships with my clients that heighten my level of personal commitment and professionalism. Judy Tucker I choose to take the CPCC program for two reasons: first because I was very impressed with the Healthy Breast Program’s holistic approach that I took with Jeanette (HHE) last year… and second, because when a patient is in front of the doctor and is diagnosed with ‘cancer’, the emotional stress is huge and in the same moment the immune system drops to rock bottom. Our medical system, unfortunately, is unable to offer the emotional and adjuvant support that the patient requires. The ‘system’ leaves her with few or no options and no empowerment – creating a vulnerable patient. I think that with the options presented in the CPCC program the patient can be an active participant in her own treatment and recovery. Our position as holistic practitioners is to complement, assist and become active supporters for these patients within the realm nutrition, supplementation, emotional, psychological, and spiritual and knowledge of their disease. The cancer coach program has provided me with these tools that I will use in my practice to better empower my clients. I really appreciate that I found both these programs and will look forward to further programs being offered by Jeanette and The Holistic Health Education faculty. Gemma Gath BASc., The cancer coaching program created an insatiable passion to contribute to the health and well-being of clients stricken with cancer. In addition, it is exciting to realize that I can be instrumental in helping people who are pre-disposed to all elements of cancer. It is a comprehensive and in-depth course which is unique in integrating all levels of information. I can now guide clients in attaining the best health care possible while alleviating many fears that are manifested during their difficult time. It is very apparent to me that I can help clients create a clear and concise plan to streamline achievable goals for them to heal physically, emotionally and spiritually. This course has given me the ability to instill the importance of hope in clients by using intelligent alternative concepts and natural medication to fight cancer. It will definitely provide me with the skills and knowledge to accomplish my aim of giving clients a higher quality of life and the courage to face all challenges in a positive manner. Jeanie Bruneau RNCP The Cancer Coach program is excellent, as it provides a detailed roadmap of the protocols for teaching cancer clients how to take control of their disease and their lives through diet, the environment, proper nutrition, emotional/mind direction and Qi gong exercises. The material is easy to follow and easy to resource. The presentation has structure, yet is relaxed enough to allow for free discussion and questions giving all participants a chance to learn from one another. I am proud to have learned from a knowledgeable, passionate and approachable teacher. The small class setting is excellent. Eileen Fauster BA RNCP This course was amazing! A lot of information! The material is great, useful and will be so helpful in my private practice. Great handouts, thank you! Thank you so much for everything. You are a wealth of information and I feel so blessed to have met you Jeanette. I really enjoyed the course. Ara Wiseman RNCP As I have said, I believe that the cancer coach program was put in my path for ‘some’ reason. I was so impressed with the Healthy Breast Program that it was a ‘given’ that I do the cancer coach program. It was a pleasure Jeanette…and I look forward to taking more courses with you in the future. Catherine Steer RNCP The cancer coaching program is extremely comprehensive. The assignment was very helpful and it taught me something very important related to my personal life. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the food was great! I feel that I will be much more confident in helping clients with cancer. Thank you once again! Jeannette Gain RNCP
